Rs 757 million allocated for Gwader projects

ISLAMABAD, June 9 (APP): An amount of Rs 757.020 million has been earmarked for the new and ongoing projects of Ports and Shipping Ministry in Gwader under Public Sector Development Programme 2007-8.

The new projects being funded in port town of Gwader are:

Eastbay Expressway to Link National Road Network, Gwader (Rs 100 million), Land Acquisition for ROW of Eastbay Expressway to link National Road Network, Gwader (Rs 100 million).

The ongoing projects in Gwader to be financed during the next fiscal year are: Gwader Deep Sea Port (Phase I) including Deepening of channel (Rs 400 million), Establishment of Project Management Unit (Rs 41.020 million) and Gwader Port Civic Center, Gwader (Rs 116 million).
